The company behind the site

SPX Opticians, an established, independent chain of stores, with head office facilities based in Nottingham, is the company behind Designer SPX.

SPX Opticians is a registered opthalmic practise run by qualified optometrists and have been practising for more than 10 years. During that time SPX has built an unrivalled range of designer spectacles and sunglasses. Coupled with a unique and friendly approach to customer service, SPX has grown from strength to strength.

The Designer SPX online store was created because we wanted our customers to be able to choose great-looking designer sunglasses from the comfort of their own homes, safe in the knowledge that is on hand at the end of the phone to help.

Why Nottingham?

We chose Nottingham for the location of our head office because of its thriving population, fashion boutique stores and reputation for trend setting. We find it an exciting and interesting place to work and we’ve been able to bring the spirit of the city into our stores and the way that we work with our clients.

We hope that we’ve been able to translate some of that into our online store and that you enjoy your visit, browsing some of the most stunning collections in eyewear available to date.
